Approximately 10 years ago, a Sith Lord named Lord Megar invaded the Galactic Republic. His armies were massive, and powerful. The Republic put up a daring struggle, but lost many key engagements until it was unable to hold the majority of its systems. 5 years ago, Megar was able to take the capital of Coruscant, effectively ending major Republic resistance. The Republic clung to Dantooine and a few nearby worlds, using the rest of their fleet to turn them into fortress like planets. Megar was preparing his forces to make the finishing blow to the defeated Republic, when a new force emerged. Airon Subeta, a former Jedi Knight began a relentless assault liberating world after world from Lord Megar. The people hailed him as their liberator, and his ranks swelled with new recruits from all the planets that he liberated. The war continued for years, with Subeta pushing ever deeper into Megar's territory. Subeta and Megar have reached a stalemate, both fighting to gain the victory that will win them the edge in the war.
